Please be aware that car parking on campus is limited and will incur a charge. More information on parking locations, charges and the Paybyphone system here.
Parking
All day parking is available at the rear of Adelphi House for £4. The PayByPhone App is the most convenient way to pay for parking however you can also pay through the website www.paybyphone.co.uk or by calling their automated service on 0161 880 0100 upon arrival.
The PayByPhone location code is 59323.
Please Note:
- Parking at the front of Adelphi House is reserved; anyone parking in the front car park without the appropriate permits will receive a PCN (Penalty Charge Notice). The PayByPhone system does not cover the front car park.
- Farmer Norton Car Park is also available as an overflow car park. The PayByPhone location code is also 59323.
- Parking spaces are limited. If you plan to park on campus, please arrive early.
- Disabled parking spaces are available at the front of the Adelphi House building. Blue badge holders are exempted from any fee – you must display your blue badge clearly on your vehicle.

The nearest bus stops are either Salford University/Art Gallery or Salford Crescent Station.

Salford Crescent station is located on the campus between the Peel Park and Frederick Road campus. Direct services run to and from Manchester Airport, Manchester Piccadilly and Victoria, as well as Blackpool, Bolton, Buxton, Blackburn, Southport, Preston, Lancaster and Barrow-in-Furness. Inter-city services normally use Manchester Piccadilly which is about ten minutes train journey from Salford Crescent.
There are a number of local taxi services available. Fares to and from the city range from £10 – £20. We recommend you book taxis in advance to avoid disappointment as services will be very busy during the week.
