Health and Safety Conference

26 April 2022 - Manchester

Salford Professional Development’s annual Health and Safety conference has rapidly become one of the most informative attractions within the H&S events calendar, with our previous virtual conference attracting hundreds of professionals across multiple sectors.

As we move away from the initial challenges created by the pandemic, the key focus will be whether this unprecedented period in our history has altered our perception of health & safety, or we doomed to repeat the same mistakes?

During 2019/2020 – 693,000 working people sustained a work related injury, with 38.8 million working days lost due to work-related illness and workplace injury. In many high profile incidents, the HSE reported that many of these “could have easily been avoided”.

What fundamental changes need to occur to improve workplace safety? Has there been enough of a cultural and behavioural shift in increasing wellbeing? Which organisations are providing the template in which others should aspire to become?

Join us and discover a wealth of information to assist with better understanding your organisations health & safety needs.
