Professional conferences and briefings
Is your student engagement strategy really working?
Now in its third year, The Student Experience conference has been designed to provide real, actionable strategies to support student retention. Offering a clear understanding of how universities can best prepare for the TEF, NSS and the OFS, the agenda will cover themes including closing attainment gaps, creating a sense of belonging, and student voice and engagement. The only such event to be researched directly with student experience leaders from across the UK, this conference will focus on practical examples of enhancing the student experience to take away and implement within your own institution.
The programme itself has been designed for maximum engagement, offering the opportunity to both learn from others and share your own experiences around key topics such as retention, student mental health and wellbeing, and employability and enterprise. With plenty of scope for interaction and reflection, the future of the higher education experience will also be debated.
SPD are delighted to be gaining a reputation for “inspirational” higher education conferences. Delegate feedback from our last Student Experience conference includes:

“There were some inspirational speakers and the information that was discussed was very useful. I have taken away lots of ideas to try to implement”
